Some thoughts on how to be more reflective as a leader
I read somewhere recently that reflective leadership was about disengaging from the hurly-burley of everyday crises and taking stock of the situation. This really struck a chord with me as it highlights the reality for many leaders who get bogged down in what seem like terrible dramas and crises in their own organizations.
Reflection helps us identify patterns in ourselves. Reflection helps us get clear on what we need to keep learning. Reflection shines a light on our strengths.
